For more than 50 years, the International Bamboo Organ Festival has been one of the country’s longest-running annual music events, celebrating heritage, artistry, and faith.

The festival honors the Philippines’ rich pipe organ tradition, highlighted by the world-renowned Bamboo Organ of Las Piñas, a masterpiece that is truly unique in all of Asia. Through music and cultural expression, it continues to inspire pride in our artistic heritage and enduring craftsmanship.

Pipe Organ Heritage

Having gone through a rigorous restoration work at the Johannes Klais Orgelbau factory in Bonn, Germany, the Bamboo Organ, on May 5, 1975, marked an epoch of what has become the world-renowned International Bamboo Organ Festival. This yearly musical and cultural event is made possible by the efforts of the people of Las Piñas (Philippines). The Festival pursues and enhances the rich cultural and musical tradition for which Las Piñas is known for, at the centerpiece of which is this historic and world famous instrument
